This award is for organisations demonstrating consistent service excellence to homeowners at all touch points - marketing, sales, after sales and leasehold management.

The award is predominantly for affordable home ownership customer care. Applicants may offer a mixed tenure service, but the focus should be on affordable home ownership.

The judges will be looking for

Developments that have successfully met some or all of the criteria below, demonstrating:

  • Evidence of a holistic approach to homeowner customer care. This could include how well marketing, sales, leasehold management, income management, after sales' service, customer engagement were received.
  • An effective system for measuring and evaluating customer feedback, showing how the feedback refines the service.
  • Evidence of how resources were effectively and imaginatively used and how staff went that extra mile to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Examples of a service that has been provided over the past 12 months, and how this has positively impacted customer care.
  • How the full needs of a diverse community are catered for and services allow ready access to BME groups, people with disabilities and the vulnerable.
  • Evidence of how your organisation has demonstrated a flexible approach to customer service, providing a case study/testimonial where necessary.
  • Evidence of customer satisfaction surveys.
